New Board of Directors Named as Advocates for Early Education

Childcare Resources Announces Board of Directors and Executive Officers for 2022


Childcare Resources, a Birmingham-based non-profit organization and United Way of Central Alabama partner agency, has announced Executive Officers and Board Members for 2022. The leadership, including five new members, will continue to drive philanthropic endeavors to support the organization’s mission through strategic partnerships, donor relations, advocacy, and strategic planning.


There are more than 40,000 eligible children in the state of Alabama without access to high-quality, affordable child care options and are missing out on resources vital to their development,” says Joan Wright, Executive Director of Childcare Resources. “Thankfully, our Board leadership values Childcare Resources as a contributing solution to the gap in support for young families across our community and will champion efforts that help ensure all children receive the absolute best start in life.”
