At Childcare Resources, we take pride in celebrating the incredible people who make our team special.
A lot of time and hard work goes into supporting the children, families, and providers in the community, and we want to take a moment to pull back the curtain and shine a light on some of the 'faces behind the mission' here at Childcare Resources.
One of which is our Early Learning Inclusion Specialist Assistant, Sasha Harrington! Sasha has been with Childcare Resources for nearly four years and her dedication to supporting children with special needs has made an immeasurable impact on both our families and our staff. We are so excited to show you what an incredible employee, friend, and mother she is!
Tell us a little bit about what you do at Childcare Resources.
I support and serve our families that have children with special needs. I also support our teachers in the classrooms with assistive technology, classroom environment, as well as implementing specific goals for the students. I work closely with family advocates, education leaders, master education leaders, directors, teachers, and my supervisor.
What Is your favorite thing about working at Childcare Resources?
"My favorite thing is, we get to have a hand in the foundation of our future generation. We get to serve and support families with great needs and that is the greatest achievement."
How do you like to spend your free time?
You can find me at church, the grocery store, or doing some kind of new activity my boys have come up with that day! I love creating baskets for special occasions, watching mukbang videos, or going on a fun trip with my family.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? ....and where are you taking us to eat?!
Oh, it has to be either steak or Mexican food without a doubt. If I am going out to eat then we are going to Saltgrass, Texas de Brazil, or Cava!
What is something exciting that is happening in your life right now?
I just recently received recognition for making the Dean's List for University of West Alabama all while being a mom to three young boys, a wife and working full time!
