Childcare Resources’ Head Start Program invites community members to tour facility in Leeds, Alabama

Families in the Greater Birmingham area can learn more about Childcare Resources and its newly-remodeled Head Start facility on Saturday, September 18th in Leeds, Alabama. The event will offer free, nonperishable food items to families in attendance while they learn about the programs at this state-of-the-art early education center.



“We are pleased to add this high-quality early learning center for families in the Leeds area,” says Joan Wright, Exective Diretor at Childcare Resources.

Families can also enjoy fun in the sun with bubbles, games, hula-hooping, Larry the Alabama Magic Man, and more! Eligible families interested in learning more about Early Head Start and Head Start services with children ages 2 1/2 to 5 years of age are welcome to tour the classrooms, meet the staff, and apply for the program.

Childcare Resources operates its Head Start Program through a partnership model with local schools, child care programs, and the community. The Office of Head Start (OHS) works to prepare young children from local low-income families to succeed in both school and life. The Head Start and Early Head Start Programs promote a child's development through comprehensive early learning, health, and family well-being services.
