At Childcare Resources, we work each and every day to support and celebrate early childhood educators. Our nation’s educators impact the lives of millions of children every day, even during the most difficult times. As our country faces the COVID-19 pandemic, our teachers stand to the challenge to continue educating their students with virtual classrooms, at-home lessons, and so much more to ensure that every student has the resources to continue to reach their full potential.
During these challenging and unprecedented times, we hope you will join us in recognizing our educators and the role they play in providing children with the absolute best start in life. Consider one or two of these ways to thank a teacher during Teacher Appreciation Week, May 4 – May 8, 2020!
Download PTA.org’s Teacher Appreciation Week Toolkit for free and easy-to-use materials that your child can customize to say thank you.
Record a video of your child expressing his or her gratitude for education and send it to the educator that is making an impact on your child each and every day.
Send one of Hallmark’s Ecards to a teacher you know that is making a difference through education.
Consider sharing a post on your social media page with the hashtag #ThankATeacher to raise awareness for Teacher Appreciation Week and the impact education has on our lives.
Simply say “thank you” by sending a virtual hug to an educator you know for caring about the lives of the children in our community.
“School may look and feel different for students these days, but the strong and steady support you continue to show makes all the difference.” – US Department of Education
