Legacy Giving
a powerful gift to future generations
What is Legacy Giving?
Legacy or Planned Giving is simply a charitable gift that is part of your overall financial or estate plan. As a lasting investment in Childcare Resources, a planned gift advances our mission and ensures our ability to continue providing resources and support to families in Central Alabama, as we have done since first opening our doors in 1984.

There are a number of ways to make a planned gift. We encourage you to talk to an attorney or financial planner about planned giving, and feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
Simple Ways to Make a Planned Gift
-
Give through your will. A simple bequest in your will is one of the easiest ways to make a legacy gift. Click here for sample language to include in your will.
-
Give through your life insurance policy or retirement plan. You can designate Childcare Resources as a beneficiary or co-beneficiary. Contact your financial planner or Childcare Resources for more details.

You can also make a planned gift through annuities, charitable remainder trusts, revocable living trusts, or through your IRA. For more information reach out to our Development Department.
